Hi all,
I'm testing Chronoscan for a while and I found it very interesting.

I'm testing the intelli-tag (I'm using Chronoscan V 1.0.1.81 in italian) but I cannot pick the right data.

If you check the .pdf attached you can find the yellow part in the first page.

in this example I would like to pick the line:

"Il Fondo è classificato nella categoria 6" <-- in particular the number "6"

I have tried to create a tag with "the nearest code" at "il Fondo è classificato nella categoria" but it does not worked

Thank you for the help

Gabriele

Hello Gabriele,
intelli-tags were not meant to capture tags within a phrase in they way you want it to. They are geared towards capturing data that is not inside a paragraph.
It will work great to capture data such as invoice date, invoice amounts, or even suppliers by using supplier data present on the page.
On your case ChronoScan might or might not work and as you have tested and seen it will not work.

I would suggest instead capturing the entire paragraph and running either a VBScript or using some kind of regular expression to find the tags you are looking for.
The other alternative is using static value intelli-tags, for instance look for "categoria 6" and set the value "6". You can learn a bit more about static value intelli-tags here:
chronoscan.org/doc/intelli_tags.htm?q=aW...jk5&st=Mg==&sct=MA==

Let us know if that helps.

Hi,
many thanks for the suggest!

I'm testing Chronoscan mostly with the OCR Zone selection (with the anchorage) but I think it can work with the static value you suggested me.

As you can see in the image attached I have created the List with all the possible "categoria" but I do not know how can I set one field in order to retrive the data

Could you please assist me?

Thank you

Gabriele

First you must set the fuzzy level for each intelli-tag to 0. Then you must assign your intelli-tag list ot a field.
Your list is called RISCHIO_1 so select or create the field you want to set the value to and open it's properties (check the properties panel). Scroll down until you find the Intelli-tag list property and select from the drop-down menu the list RISCHIO_1.Then process your documents while making sure the intelli-tag option is selected.

Let me know how it works out as I could only test it with the sample documents sent.

Hi,
thanks for the help.

As you can see in the jpeg attached, I have tried with that information but nothing happened.

It could be possible that the Intellitag only works in a few languages and Italian is not included?

Gabriele,
it should work. The intelli-tag capture should work regardless of the language unless you have language detection enabled correctly on your application. Choosing different OCR languages on the OCR menu can change how the intelli-tag engine reacts but the main reason for that is the actual OCR reading that comes from the documents. Are you able to provide more document samples so I can test? If you are let me know and I will send further instructions.
