ChronoScan Enterprise turns the desktop product into a multi-user, client/server system: a central SQL Server database, a processing server that imports, processes and exports 24x7 as a Windows service, desktop stations and web users working on the same batches, with users, roles, labels, a shared batch panel and approval workflows.

The Web Client is served by the ChronoScan server itself, with nothing to install on the workstation: dashboard, batch panel, indexing view with the same logic as the desktop (thumbnails, viewer, form, red fields, tables, external data lookup), grid view for bulk correction, document upload, approvals and administration. TWAIN scanning and the advanced job configuration (zones, scripts) stay on the administrator desktop.
This desktop program is the administration and capture station of an Enterprise installation: it connects to the server database (Program options, Enterprise connection), links jobs to the server, obtains the OAuth credentials of the mailboxes and can run its hot folders through the server. Everything specific to the server, the services and the web client is documented in the ChronoScan Enterprise manual.
