The ML Tools panel (Panels menu, View ML Tools panel) is the workbench of the machine learning features of ChronoScan: the local models that classify documents and recognise entities (dates, amounts, identifiers) without calling an external AI. It is an advanced tool, used when preparing a model for a customer rather than in daily capture.
Its views cover the whole cycle:
Data capture: collects training examples from the documents of the open batches.
Annotation: marks the entities on the text of the documents (named entity recognition).
Training: trains a model with the collected data and shows its metrics.
Model and Batch views: information about the current model and the results on the documents of the batch.
The trained models are stored in the ChronoML folder of the configuration and are used by the eTags and classification features of the job; see eTags Panel.
