On the Value List window it is possible to edit and create Lists to use with ChronoScan. Lists are useful for setting up Data Fields when you would like to just select a predefined value from a list while creating data fields.
It is also possible to create a list using data from a database.
Create New List
Click on the Create New List button to create a new empty list with the desired name. It will automatically open up on the Value List Window.
If you want to create a Value List using data from a database click on the Create New Database List button. You will be prompted for a name and then the Value List on Database Window will show up. There you can select where the data will be imported from.
The Edit List button will open the selected list on the default text editor where you can edit the list using normal text processing. Different values are separated by a new paragraph and a description can be added by adding "|" (straight dash) to the value line and then writing the description.
The Refresh Data button will synch up the data from a database or from a edited list file. Use this when you are missing values that should be already on the list.
