6.9.2. Reports 1 - Activity/ Hourly

 
 
Overview
This module provides detailed reports on ChronoScan activities recorded in the ChronoScan Enterprise activity table. The data is analyzed and grouped to offer insightful breakdowns:
 
Displays a detailed, hour-by-hour distribution of logged activities.
 
 Presents aggregated totals of activities from Report 1, based on specified groupings.
 
Report 1: Activity per Hour
 
Description: Presents a breakdown of the operations logged in the activity table of the ChronoScan Enterprise database. Each operation is displayed in a row, while each column after the grouping fields represents a specific hour of the day. The report shows how many times each activity occurred in every hour.
 
The report is grouped by:

Job
The job where the activity was performed
User
The username of the person or system performing the activity
Activity
The specific action recorded (e.g., UserBatchCreated, UserViewDocument)
Object Type
The type of object affected by the action (e.g., batch, document, document_type)
Batch
The name or identifier of the batch involved
0:00 - 23:00
Each column represents one hour; values indicate the number of operations per hour

 
Report 2: Activity Totals
 
Description: Provides the total number of activities, aggregated using the same groupings as in Report 1 but without the hourly breakdown. This offers a summary view of the overall activity for a selected period.
 
The report is grouped by:

The job where the activity was performed
User
The username of the person or system performing the activity
Object Type
The type of object affected by the action (e.g., batch, document, document_type)
Batch
The name or identifier of the batch involved
Total
The total number of activities for the grouping

Refresh Report
Reloads the current report data to reflect the latest changes or filters.

View Management
Save, load, or delete report views. Use this menu to save the current configuration for easy access in the future.

Generate Excel
Exports the generated report to an Excel file. (Note: The report must be generated before exporting.)

Explore
Opens the folder where previously generated Excel reports are stored.

[SQL]
For administrators and debugging: Displays the SQL query or an example query used to generate the current report.

Aggregation Type
Selects how data is aggregated in the report:
- Counter: Sum of activities per column
- Seconds: Total activity time in seconds
- Minutes: Total activity time in minutes (for time-recording activities)

Submit
Generates or refreshes the report based on the current options and filters.
