3.5.3.3.4. Document Types Menu
 
This menu is very similar to the Document Type Menu on the Document Type Read Configuration Toolbar on the Data Entry Tab but it has some more functionality.

Manage Document Types for Current Job

1. Manage Document Types for Current Job
This option will open the Document Types Manager Window showing all the document types currently embedded in the current Job.

Create Document Type from Selection

2. Create Document Type from Selection
This option will open the Share Document Type Window in order to create a new document type from the currently selected document or page.

Set Document Type for Selection

3. Set Document Type for Selection
This option will open the Document Types Manager Window in order to set the document type for the currently selected documents.
After selecting the type from the list click on the Select button.

Remove Document Type from Selection

4. Remove Document Type from Selection
This option will remove the type detected by ChronoScan form the selected document or page.

Set Default Document Type for Job

5. Set Default Document Type for Job
This option will open the Document Types Manager Window in order to set the default document type for the current Job.
Very useful when only one single document type will be processed on the current Job.
Using this option will make ChronoScan set all new documents to the default document type, removing the need to perform document type detection.
To remove the current default document type just open the Set Default Document Type window and close it without selecting any type. A dialogue will pop up asking if the user wants to remove the default document type for the current Job.

Automatic Type Detection

This option will enable/disable Automatic Type Detection.

Learn New Document Types

7. Learn New Document Types
This option will enable/disable the Learn New Document Types feature.

Copy Type Settings For New Types

8. Copy Type Settings For New Types
This option will allow the user to select a document type to serve as template for any newly created types.
Any changes made to the selected type will apply to newly created types, but not to document types that previously existed.
Settings copied include OCR Triggers, OCR Zones and Grids. Intelli-tags are not copied.

Page Level Type Detection

This option will enable the Page Level Type Detection feature.

Only Set Default Document Type if Type is Not Detected

10. Only Set Default Document Type if Type is Not Detected
This option will allow the use of a default document type together with the IDR engine.
If the creation of new types is disabled this feature will set the current document to the default document type whenever a unknown type is found.

Advanced Menu

The Advanced Menu will give extra options for Document Type Detection and Intelli-Tags.
Use them if you are having trouble using Type Detection with Intelli-Tags.

Type Recognition Menu

12. Type Recognition Menu
The Type Recognition Menu will allow you to tweak the Type Detection Algorithm. There are three options, the more precise the longer the processing will take.

Type Detection Confidence Level

13. Type Detection Confidence Level
This option allows to tweak the Automatic Type Detection Confidence Level. The higher the confidence level the longer the processing will take.
